We provide mobile DJ service for community and fundraising events. You'll get the same level of professionalism and high quality that our wedding clients get, but without extra features that are not needed for a non-wedding event.

What's Included with Oregon Event DJ Service?

We have created a simple solution to deliver high quality DJ service that meets the needs of most PNW events. The following services are included in the Event DJ Package.

  • Equipment Setup and Breakdown Time Included

    There is no additional cost for setup and breakdown. When you are choosing hours you just need to count the time from Event Start through Event End.

  • Wireless and Wired Microphones

    We bring wireless microphones because they are convenient. We also bring wired microphones because they are reliable.

  • Indoor and/or Outdoor

    We can DJ indoors or outdoors.

  • Up to 8 speakers

    We bring plenty of speakers to make sure we get sound in all of the right places at a comfortable listening volume.

  • Basic MC Services

    We make the  necessary announcements using a professional speaking voice.

  • Complimentary Phone or Video Consults

    You can schedule a meeting with us whenever you need to using our online scheduler.

  • 60 miles travel included

    80 miles of round trip travel are already included in the package.

Administrative Fees

Administrative Fees cover operating costs. These fees are only charged when necessary.

Booking Questions

  • Is a deposit required?

    A deposit is required on most contracts, except for contracts with government organizations (due to state rule and law).

  • When is the final invoice/balance due?

    The final invoice/balance is due 2 weeks prior to event day. Government organizations pay the final invoice/balance on the day of the event, per state procurement rule and law.

  • How do I book mynewdj?

    Booking mynewdj is simple.

  • Are you available on my event date?

    The best way to find out if we are available on your event date is to contact us.

Music Questions


  • What kind of songs do you play?

    We can play just about any song that you request, as long as it is available for purchase from a major online distributor. 


    DJ Aaron Harris is an open format DJ which means that he can play music from a wide variety of genres and mix them together with ease.

  • Can I give you a list of songs to play?

    We will accept a song request list from our clients, as well as a do not play list. Event Guests may use our song request app to requests songs, or they can request songs during the event by talking to DJ Aaron Harris.

  • Do you play explicit or clean versions of songs?

    We play clean and radio edit versions of songs. If there is not clean or radio edit of a song then we will use our best judgement to determine if we'll honor the song request.

  • Do you provide emcee services?

    We provide emcee services by making announcements over PA speakers using an articulate and professional speaking voice.

  • How do you interact with the crowd and create a fun atmosphere?

    We mostly let the songs do the talking, but DJ Aaron Harris is a charismatic person who knows how to create a genuine connection with people through non-verbal cues and positive body language.

  • How much experience do you have and what are some of the events you have performed at?

    DJ Aaron Harris has over 7 years of experience performing as a DJ in Oregon. He has provided DJ service at weddings, birthday parties, retirement events, organizational events, in-store promotional events, school dances, non-profit fund-raising events, and public social issue awareness events.
