    A deposit of $200 is required.

  • Is the deposit refundable?

    It depends on the circumstances, but we do describe the deposit as non-refundable.

  • When if the final invoice/balance due?

    The final invoice/balance is due 2 weeks prior to event day. Government organizations pay the final invoice/balance on the day of the event, per state procurement rule and law.

  • How do I book mynewdj?

    Booking mynewdj is simple.

    Step 1. Schedule and attend a consultation.

    Step 2. Let us know that you want to book us.

    Step 3. Review and sign a contract.

    Step 4. Pay your Deposit, if required.

  • When is the final invoice/balance due?

    The final invoice/balance is due 2 weeks prior to event day, except for contracts with government organizations where the final invoice/balance is due on the day of the event.

    You can pay via the invoice that we send you (Bank ACH or Debit/Credit Card). You can also send a check via mail.

  • Is the final payment refundable?

    It depends. If services have already been rendered then the final payment is not refundable. If the final payment has been made prior to the event day and the event has been cancelled, then it may be fully or partially refundable.

  • Do you offer a payment plan?

    We do not offer a payment plan.

  • Do I have to do a consultation before I can book?

    We require a consultation prior to booking so that we can confirm details about your event and ensure that we have the capability to meet your needs. Sometimes we may skip the consultation stage if we have already talked to you about logistics and determine that it is not necessary.

  • Do you use contracts?

    We use contracts for all of our events.

  • Do you provide a certificate of insurance?

    We provide a certificate of insurance, when requested by the client. We can also add the venue as a named insured for the event, if required.

  • What kind of songs do you play?

    We can play just about any song that you request, as long as it is available for purchase from a major online distributor. DJ Aaron Harris is an open format DJ which means that he can play music from a wide variety of genres.

  • Can I give you a list of songs to play?

    We will accept song request lists from our clients, as well as a do not play list. Event Guests may use our song request app to requests songs, or they can request songs during the event by talking to DJ Aaron Harris.

  • Do you play explicit or clean versions of songs?

    We play clean and radio edit versions of songs. Sometimes we receive a song requests for a song that only has a dirty/explicit edit, and we will play the song if our client says it is okay.

  • Can I give you a do not play list?

    You may provide us with a list of songs, artist, or guidance regarding songs that you do not want us to play.

  • Do you accept song requests during the event?

    We accept song requests and shot-outs during the event. However, we reserve the right to decline requests based on our discretion.

  • Can you play any song?

    We can play just about any song that you request, as long as it is available for purchase from a major online distributor.

  • My friend recorded a song. Can you play it?

    We can play personal and customized songs if you provide us with the audio file.

  • I found the perfect song on tik tok. Can you play it?

    We cannot play songs directly from social media sites like tik tok, instagram, etc. However, we will search for the song on a reputable music distribution site to see if we can purchase and download it?

  • Can you just download the song from YouTube?

    No, we cannot download the song from YouTube. We will only source our music from legal sources.

  • I have the song on my phone. Do you have an aux cord or Bluetooth?

    We will not connect personal devices to our system.

  • Can I give you a link to a playlist to play from?

    We gladly accept playlist links from our clients. However, we need to receive the playlist in advance so that we can transfer songs from the streaming platform into our professional DJ software.
